THE BOOK COVER DESIGN PODCAST EPISODE #16: What Makes a Book Cover Design Bulletproof
In this episode of The Book Cover Design Podcast I talk about what will make your book cover design bulletproof so it will last you a lifetime without failure.
Refinement through the process.
I’ve had to go through a lot of critiquing to get better at book cover designing over the past few years. What has this helped me achieve? The ability to create book cover designs that are bulletproof at will. This doesn’t work without the author on the other end though. They are the key players because the authors are still in control of the way it will turn out. As I go through my design process of creating book covers it takes time to create something that will last and is completely bulletproof against hating eyes. The last thing you want to do is scare your readers away. The idea of having an eye-catching book cover design is to pull people in and get them to buy your book.
